Founded in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand in 1997 by Barbara Tee and Mike Smith. Entrenched in Dance/ Electronic music culture, when Auckland nightlife was thriving and clubs were open all night. Adopted by an inner circle of DJ’s, cool kids and creatives, quickly spreading to Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and beyond, Flatliners were part of the crew of musicians, street artists, fashionistas and party people of the late 90’s and 2000’s. Inspired by a love of strong Japanese graphics emerging in the 90’s, with an appreciation of minimal lines, and respect for the history of denim.  

Relaunched for 2022, the icon is back. Sought after by youth, steeped in nostalgia and authenticity, with a quality and distinct point of view that stands the test of time, and brings back the love.
